Traditional Mantel Shelf with Corbels - 5 Colours

Designed as a shelf rather than a faux lintel beam, this chunky oak statement shelf provides a more traditional style and larger top face to accomodate accessories and decor.

Smaller versions make a great and unique statement shelf in any room!

Please note that if you wish to have the corbels mounted at the sides of your fireplace cavity as shown in the images then the shelf length needs to measure at least 300mm more than the width of the opening. This is to allow space for the corbels that are each 100mm wide and give them a little space between the edge of the opeining and the end of the shelf.  300mm longer is the absolute minimum, 400mm is recommended to look its best.
If you plan to mount the shelf with the corbels above the opening then this is not so important.
